Introduction to K9 Nose Work ®
All dogs will start in Introduction to K9 Nose Work ®. In this class your dog will be encouraged to use his nose to hunt for a primary reward . Dogs will learn to search boxes and various containers scattered throughout a search area. Searches will become more difficult, and they will learn to solve puzzles to get to the source of the odor. Dogs will become more confident in doing this and will have FUN! Handlers learn to read their dog and see what they look like when they've caught odor. This class is open to all dogs. Please contact your instructor before class if your dog needs extra space.

Private Nose Work Lesson – Single
Attending regular Nose Work classes is important if you would like a well-rounded sniffer. However, if there is something that isn’t being covered in class, a private lesson is the perfect way to concentrate on specific issues; for example, box crushing or creating a stronger indication. A private lesson is also a great way to get some trial specific practice in. If your dog is not appropriate for class, a private lesson may work out better for your dog.
These lessons last 30 minutes.

What students are saying:
I'd like to let you know, every time after I listen to your input, how much I want to go out and do more nose work right away! It dawned on me, you are not only providing insights, you also allow me to share nose work with someone who understands the game.

Thank you for the NW2 Trial Prep lessons. You gave me a lot of ideas on what to practice, and I feel make the thought of going to NW2 trial less scary!
