Lori Timberlake, CPDT-KA, CNWI

Lori Timberlake has been working with dogs since 2004 and has been a Certified Professional Dog Trainer since 2009.  She was introduced to the sport of Nose Work in 2011 and it has become her passion.  While she will still take some private behavior consults and private lessons, Nose Work has become her focus.

Do Over Dog Training was founded to help all of those rescue dogs that deserved a “do over.”  Lori quickly discovered that the best way to help a fearful dog build confidence is Nose Work.  The best activity for a reactive dog is Nose Work.  The best activity for a busy puppy is Nose Work.  The best activity for an older dog to keep their mind active is Nose Work.  There isn’t a dog she’s met that wouldn’t benefit from this sport!

And then there’s the competitive side of Nose Work.  While the sport was invented as a way for pet dogs to play and compete it has quickly become a very competitive sport.  Lori has caught the competition bug and so have her students!  Lori and her dog Daisy compete in NACSW trials and are now trialing at the Elite level.

Lori is very involved in the sport of Nose Work and offers many opportunities for the local community to learn and compete in the sport of Nose Work.  She hosts trials, seminars, coaching days, sniff n’ gos and teaches classes for all levels.  Lori is an approved AKC Scent Work judge, a UKC Nose Work Certified Official, a USCSS CSD & Judge and is available for seminars, coaching and consulting.
