Introduction to Parkour

Parkour is a physical activity where dogs learn to interact with their environment.  Parkour is for all dogs, no matter the breed, age or activity level.

This Introduction to Parkour Workshop will take place indoors and we will introduce the dogs to all of the novice parkour behaviors:

  • 4 Feet On

  • 2 Feet On

  • Moving Obstacle

  • Under

  • Through

  • In

  • Over

  • Around

  • Balance

  • Wait on Obstacle

  • Back up

We will cover all safety requirements and embrace IDPKA philosophy of being safe, having fun, letting the dog choose and building confidence.

Who is the workshop for?  If you're interested in getting outdoors in the spring and practicing parkour, this is a great way to properly learn the behaviors indoors in a safe manner.  If you weren't able to join one of our Introduction to Parkour classes, this workshop will cover much of what was covered in class.  If you've taken a class, you can use the workshop for more practice!

**An Introduction to Parkour class or workshop must be taken before joining our outdoor classes**

This workshop is for both auditors and working spots. Working spots are limited to eight (8).
